Find the part before the ship sails.
marine.trade connects superintendents who need a part fast with the shipyards, owners and dealers who already have it in stock, anonymously, matched to your deadline and port.
Every request carries a deadline and a delivery port. Offers are ranked against both.

Two sides, one mechanism
You need a part
Post the part with the date it must be on board and the delivery port. Both are mandatory, they drive the matching.
Verified suppliers respond with condition, documentation and lead time. You compare against your deadline, not just on price.
Order from one platform. Supplier identity is disclosed before the order becomes binding.
You hold stock
List surplus parts without becoming a parts dealer. Your company stays hidden behind an alias.
Respond to requests that match your stock. Photos and documents pass an identity screen before publication.
Your name is released only at checkout, to the buyer who committed to purchase.
Anonymous until the order binds. Not a minute longer.
Shipowners will not reveal surplus stock under their own name, and buyers will not order from a party they cannot verify. The platform holds both ends: sellers stay masked while offers are compared, and the legal identity is disclosed in the moment before the order becomes binding.
Masked
Buyers compare condition, documents, price and lead time. The seller appears as a verified alias with region only.
Checkout
Before the binding click, the platform releases the seller's legal name, country and VAT ID.
Bound
The contract forms directly with the disclosed supplier. The invoice names the actual party.
Disclosure before the binding order is a legal requirement, not a courtesy: § 164 BGB (contract formation) and § 14 UStG (invoicing) both demand the actual supplier.
Six condition grades. Three need no extra survey.
Six condition levels are used across marine.trade. Only three are accepted by classification societies without additional inspection.
- New, OEMUnused, from the original equipment manufacturer, with full documentation.
- New, aftermarketUnused, from an approved aftermarket manufacturer, not the OEM.
- Unused surplusUnused, but not new stock, leftover from a build or fleet change. Needs a fresh conformity check.
- Reconditioned, certifiedReworked and certified by an approved workshop, with a reconditioning certificate.
- Used, testedRemoved from service and function tested, without a reconditioning certificate.
- Used, as isRemoved from service, sold without testing or certification. Highest inspection burden on the buyer.
Green dot: accepted by classification societies without extra inspection. Grey dot: expect additional survey before the part can go on board.
The next hard-to-find part is a question of days, not luck.
Registration is free. Every company is verified by hand before it can request, offer or buy.
